the closed seam bifold wallet has been hand cut from a butter soft 1.8mm vegetable tanned matte black horse culatta leather. culatta is a special cut combined of the rear just above the cordovan, the belly middles and the hind shanks, offering a dense structure, tight grain and medium to firm temper. vegetable tanning is a traditional method of treating the hide using natural extracts such as tree bark, for a truly artisanal and robust finish.

crafted entirely by hand without the use of machines, the wallet features a closed seam construction to the front, with a large note compartment and multiple card slots to the interior utilising the leathers grain structure. a hand waxed 0.65mm tonal japanese linen thread has been used for the overlocked sides and the closed seam construction.
